"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday."

A day of Eid for the believers, a day of forgiveness, and a day where prayers are answered.

"Whoever takes a bath on Friday, goes early to the mosque, walks and does not ride, sits close to the Imam, listens attentively, and does not speakโ€”for every step he takes he gets the reward of a year of fasting and praying at night." (Tirmidhi)

The Virtues of Friday

The Hour of Acceptance

There is an hour on Friday during which no Muslim asks Allah for something good except that He gives it to him. Many scholars say it is the final hour after Asr before Maghrib.

A Light Between Two Fridays

Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for them between the two Fridays. It protects the reader from the trials of the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).

Abundant Salawat

The Prophet ๏ทบ commanded us to send abundant blessings (Salawat) upon him on Friday, stating: "For your blessings are presented to me." (Abu Dawud).

Silence During Khutbah

Speaking while the Imam is delivering the sermon (Khutbah) invalidates the reward of your Jumu'ah. Even telling someone else to "be quiet" is considered idle talk.
